SAMYA Practice promotes innovation and positive change by holistic means. We design and present specialized seminars to help companies, law firms, individuals, teams, and other organizations grow more focused, creative, productive, and powerful, and also to foster stronger bonds among colleagues and between your organization and the community.
A typical SAMYA seminar lasts approximately 2 hours (we can also do a 1 or 1.5 hour seminar or something longer if you choose).
We know that the wellbeing and success of any organization, community, or group is inextricably linked to the wellness of its individual members. As such, we provide you with tools for integration, innovation, inspiration, growth, and balance.
The practice of mindfulness can help communities to grow more resilient, creative, empathetic, and effective, creating an inspiring conceptual framework, wherein individuals and teams can discover vitalizing new ways of thinking about and engaging with their professions. (Read some of the research on mindfulness here, here, here, and here.)
Our seminars adopt a thoroughly multidisciplinary, participatory approach in an engaging, playful, productive, and inspiring atmosphere. And you help us create your experience.
Depending on your specific needs, your SAMYA seminar may include: innovative leadership strategies for social good; creative-problem finding tools for discovering new ideas; tips for a healthy and productive lifestyle; yoga and meditation techniques for creative inspiration; organizational wellbeing and authenticity; or effective, innovative, and mindful business strategies.

The legal landscape is changing, and SAMYA is pioneering a new approach to legal life. As an attorney, SAMYA’s founder, Flynn Coleman, has found that mindfulness powerfully enhances the lives and work of legal professionals. This seminar, which includes a 1 hour CLE, will help increase personal focus, organizational development, innovative problem-solving, and productivity, and also help to foster stronger bonds among colleagues and between attorneys and clients.
Mindfulness promotes a healthful unity—a harmony of purpose, thought, action, and consequence—not only for individuals but also for societies. In this respect, law and mindfulness may both be viewed as means of establishing and maintaining balance. Indeed, both implicate many of the same central concerns (e.g., of ethics, of justice, and of the nature and bounds of individual and social responsibility, obligation, and power).

Want tools to grow more profitable, focused, creative, compassionate and effective? Our wellbeing affects every area of our lives, from our work to our personal and collective futures. This focus area aims to optimize your wellbeing as individuals and a community. You and your organization will gain tips for productive and powerful habits. We may include tools for team-building and innovating new ideas, yoga and meditation for optimal mental and physical health, strategies for work-life balance, office ergonomics, and ways to alleviate stress in its many forms.
Focused on women’s issues and empowerment? This concept is for any women’s group, committee, or organization. SAMYA’s founder, Flynn Coleman, a women’s rights advocate, has spent many years working with women, experiencing the uniquely transformative power of women coming together as a community, especially in our modern landscape. Flynn has witnessed this power in diverse settings (for example, among her friends, colleagues, and legal clients) and in more extreme circumstances (for example, among survivors of human rights abuses in Chile and Haiti, and among domestic rights survivors in New York).
This pioneering program engages with modern issues from a feminine perspective, and may include energy management, and new work life balance strategies, discussions about multitasking, women’s yoga, continuing legal education for female attorneys, and tools for alleviating the stress and highlighting the joy of being a modern woman.

If you are looking to focus on something else, we are happy to accommodate your ideas. And each seminar is guided by SAMYA’s core philosophy: that lasting strength, productivity, innovation, health, and power can only be achieved through lasting balance.
As always, for every SAMYA Seminar you participate in, we empower local and global communities, providing free legal aid or therapeutic yoga instruction to survivors trauma or abuse through our OM for OM initiative.
